Denise Albert and Melissa Musen Gerstein of THE MOMS together with BigBelli Co. hosted a Mamarazzi® Breakfast Event with supermodel and celebrity parent Molly Sims at Artisanal Fromagerie Bistro on Thursday, January 29th, 2015. The glamorous event brought together influential moms and media, and celebrated Molly’s new book, The Everyday Supermodel, as well as new documentary for moms-to-be, 40 Weeks, by Big Belli.
Guests were treated to a host of delicious bites from legendary French bistro Artisanal Fromagerie’snew breakfast menu, which features enticing options such as Eggs Benedict Artisanal with smoked salmon and caviar, and Croque Monsieur Madame with ham, gruyere and egg. Artisanal Bistro and Wine Bar adds playful twists to classic French bistro dishes and leaves every diner wanting more. Opened in 2001, this is the quintessential French bistro in New York; decorated in old, Art Deco style – with classic French bistro tables and the smell of delicious fondue and freshly baked bread wafting in the air – it truly feels like you’ve arrived in Paris when you walk in the door.
After breakfast, Mom and supermodel Molly Sims spoke to the guests about everything from fashion to fitness, diet, lifestyle and body image – all things capsulated in her book The Everyday Supermodel. She told the audience how she made the decision to transform her body and image years ago and how she’s now a believer that you can “be anybody you want to be”. “I worked my ass off. I was 20lbs overweight, brown hair… I didn’t look like this when I was 19,” she said. “We’re all self-made women; it takes work”.
